Introduction
This spooky Halloween-Themed handprint craft has a movable jack-o-lantern that hides in the grass!
Directions:
Trace your hand on a piece of brown construction paper while elongating the fingers, coming to a point a few inches above the hand. You may have to help younger kids with this step and it helps if you demonstrate first.
Next, cut a thin strip of green construction paper and snip along the edge to make the grass. Glue bottom of the grass piece to the bottom of the spooky tree scene, leaving space for the jack-o-lantern.
Cut out and decorate the jack-o-lantern, then tuck into the grass.
Cut out a bat, some crows, and a big yellow moon. Glue the cutouts onto a gray or black piece of construction paper to complete the spooky scene!
