The Itsy Bitsy Spider – Lyrics and Printable Poem

The Itsy Bitsy Spider Printable

itsy bitsy spider

The Itsy Bitsy Spider Song is a cute song about a spider that gets completely rained out!  It’s the perfect song to sing in kindergarten when you are talking about rain and weather, or a slightly spooky song to sing around Halloween.

I created a printable poem that you can download and give out to your students. Kids can add it to their poetry journals or they can just enjoy reading the words and looking at the silly picture!

You can click here to download the Itsy Bitsy Spider Printable (Single page PDF) or you can click on the thumbnail image below.  There are two songs on the page, so after you print it out you can cut it in half and give one poem to each student.   If you are looking for the text of the lyrics to copy and paste, scroll down a little to find them after the image of the printable.

You will also find a YouTube music video of the song and a lesson plan for using the printable poem at the bottom of this page after the song lyrics!

Itsy Bitsy Spider

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Went up the water spout.

Down came the rain and

Washed the spider out!

Out came the sun and

Dried up all the rain,

And The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Went up the spout again!
