Here are the lyrics and movements for the Baby Shark Song – a song about a family of sharks on the attack! While you are singing, cup your hands and open and close them to make baby shark, clap your hands for mama shark, and keep making bigger and bigger shark jaws with your arms up until grandpa shark. A Few Fun Activities for Kids to Go Along With the Baby Shark Song

1. Paper Plate Sharks

shark craft with paper plates

Original image located here (no instructions though): http://www.pupperoos.com/?page_id=388

You can make these little sharks out of paper plates.  Cut out a red circle for the inside of the mouth, triangles for the teeth, and half-ovals for the eyes.  Fold the bottom part and staple or tape the eyes in place and use a marker to color the dark part of the eyes.  The back fin is made by cutting a paper plate in half and folding the bottom parts so that it can be attached with staples or tape.

2. Make Paper Plate Shark Jaws!

Fold and cut paper plates to create some realistic shark jaws!  Original idea with instructions here: Dollar Store Crafts Paper Plate Shark Jaws

3. Toilet Paper Roll Shark (Or cut a paper towel roll in half)

shark craft toilet paper roll

A great way to reuse old paper towel or toilet paper rolls.  I prefer to use paper towel rolls, and just cut them in half because I don’t like that the toilet paper rolls have been in the bathroom (you never know what kind of germs or whatever else could be on them)
